The whir-whir-whir of the blades of a helicopter could be heard near I-24. The large helicopter, clearly military from appearance, had begun to have engine failure. Although the pilots attempted to land it safely on the freeway, their crash landing left them dead and the helicopter damaged.
There may be supplies within the large helicopter.
The pilots are dead in the cockpit, skewered by broken glass.
The helicopter itself may be able to be scavenged for materials or, in the right hands and with the right tools, repaired.
Unfortunately the noise of the crash alerted nearby zombies, drawing them towards the helicopter, making getting close to the aircraft dangerous, but not impossible.
