No sound betrayed the location of her prey and that fact irked her. She strained to hear but nothing came to her but the natural sounds of the forest. She walked on a while longer, shifting her weight to quiet her feet on the dead leave below, but she knew that she could not stick around. The forest was not her domain and getting lost within it's tight confines was the last thing she needed. Besides, if she did not make it back to town and the rendezvous spot before the sun hit the treeline, the Brothers would leave without her and she would have to make the trek to the bank on her own.
"This isn't over," She promised, not caring if the woman could hear her or not. She turned on her heel and began to walk back. Her failure to capture her prey or at least gain something from the situation set fire to her temper and as she followed her gashes on the trees, she considered how she would kill the stranger when the opportunity came.
An idea came to her that had a smirk spreading across her lips. If Mandy wanted to play cat and mouse, she would play. Mandy should have played along, given in, or even offered her a bribe. Now the woman was as good as dead if Victoria ever got her hands on her. 'Better yet,' Victoria thought to herself. 'She's gonna wish she were dead.'

Now I'm gonna show ya, what's really crazy....
Mandy watched as the woman grew uneasy in the silence. The only noises to be heard was the wind in the trees and the occasional chirping bird. She knew she had won the battle. But from the other woman's tone and vicious words, she knew that she was nowhere near winning the war. She watched the woman leave the forest, giving up for one reason or another. The image of her leaving with her sword in hand burned into her mind. 'I need to keep an eye out for her...' That means that she had to start covering her tracks and never be in the same raiding spot more than once. That also meant there was a chance that her cabin was compromised, so she would need an emergency escape route.
Her heart grew heavy as she realized that she could never return to the old pharmacy ever again. 'Oh Momma... I'll never forget our time there.' She shed a single tear as she stood up on her sturdy branch and re holstered her gun. She was wise enough to not climb down from the trees just yet, so instead she edged to the furthest spot on the branch that she could and hoisted herself into the next tree over. She kept this up until she grew tired, knowing her cabin was still fairly far away. Mandy had done her best while running to keep her direction AWAY from her safe house. If she knew anything about that woman, it was that she would hunt Mandy down and most likely kill her for getting the better of her.
'There will always be evil in the world.' She thought to herself, finally coming out of the trees and walking towards the only place she could think to call home anymore.
It's just a cat and mouse game...

The prey had indeed won the battle, but Victoria was not the one running with her tail between her legs. Her pace was leisurely as she left the woods and made her way back to the Walgreens. She paused for a moment to catch the attention of one of the Brothers to snag one of the spray-paint cans that he always had with him, for some unknown but probably drug abuse reason. She borrowed one other important object before leaving him behind She took her time, writing neatly on the brick wall of the Walgreens near that hole before slipping inside. She walked over to the counter where she had first met the woman and lifted the can of spraypaint. With the other hand she lifted a zippo. A burst of noxious flames soon spread over the counter, illuminating the wicked look on Victoria's pace. She slowly walked backwards, moving her make-shift flamethrower and targeting the debris and shelves. By the time the can was empty she was coated in a sheen of sweat. She left Walgreens through the whole, chucking the can behind her into the flames. The building would remain standing, but the inside would be ruined. She took a minute to admire the writing on the wall for a moment before leaving to rejoin the Brothers and return to their bank. THE GAME IS ON <3
